Keeping your limestone looking and performing right
- Top off as needed: High-traffic areas (like driveways) may need a light refresh over time.
- Re-compact after heavy rain or installs: If you notice shifting, add a small amount and compact again.
- Rake to level: For walkways and decorative areas, a quick rake keeps it even.
- Weed prevention: Using landscape fabric underneath helps a lot. You can also spot treat weeds if they pop up.
- Drainage check: If water is pooling, you may need to add material or re-grade slightly so it sheds water.
How to Install 3/4" Crushed Limestone
- Prepare and level the area.
- Install landscape fabric if needed for weed control.
- Spread gravel evenly.
- Compact using a plate compactor or roller.
Recommended depth:
