 2"x4" Washed River Rock in Austin, TX

2"x4" Washed River Gravel is a large, smooth, rounded decorative stone featuring natural tones of tan, cream, and gray. Its larger size makes it ideal for bold landscape accents, erosion control, and high-visibility drainage areas.
This is a decorative and erosion-control material, not a compactable base. 

• Inspect after heavy rain and redistribute stones if needed.
• Use edging to help prevent movement on slopes.
• Remove leaves and debris periodically with a blower.
• Replenish areas that shift due to water flow or foot traffic.

Because stones are rounded and larger in size, some movement and breakage over time is normal.

1. Remove grass, weeds, and debris.
2. Install landscape fabric to reduce weed growth.
3. Ensure proper grading for drainage if used near foundations.
4. Spread rock evenly by hand or with equipment.
5. Level to desired depth.

Recommended depth:

• 4 inches minimum for erosion control
• 4 to 6 inches for drainage areas or dry creek beds

Coverage:
One cubic yard covers approximately 70 to 90 square feet at 4 inches deep.
