Concrete Sand is a coarse, washed sand commonly used as a leveling base and bedding material for concrete, pavers, and construction projects. Its gritty texture and compactable nature make it ideal for creating a stable foundation that supports weight and resists shifting.

This is not play sand. It is designed for structural applications.

• Keep material dry before installation for easier spreading.
• Compact in thin lifts (2–3 inches at a time) for best stability.
• Protect from heavy rainfall before compaction to prevent washout.
• Re-level surface if disturbed prior to final installation.

Once compacted and covered, maintenance is minimal.

1. Excavate area to proper depth.
2. Install base material if required (road base or flex base).
3. Spread concrete sand evenly.
4. Screed smooth and level.
5. Compact thoroughly using plate compactor.

Recommended depth:

• 1 inch for paver bedding layer
• 2 to 4 inches for leveling and fill applications

Coverage:
One cubic yard covers approximately 100 square feet at 3 inches deep.
